Coin Collection

The North Down & Ards Group would like to say a big thankyou to Tesco Knocknagoney and Tesco Ards Shopping Centre for allowing them to carry out a coin collection in their stores as part of Diabetes UK (NI) agreement with Tesco to have a collector in every Tesco in Northern Ireland  on Saturday the 28th of May.

A big thankyou must also go to all the volunteers who manned the buckets through the day and it should be said; a very big thankyou to everyone who donated and helped us raise a total of £490!

What a lovely day the day we went to Bangor

The Group held its annual Walk in the Park on Saturday the 5th of June 2010 in a beautiful sunny Bangor.

A total of £600 in sponsership money and donations on the day has been banked so far, monies are still coming in.

We hope to have our Walk in June 2011 in Bangor again, and hopefuly the weather will be just as good - we hope you can join us too.
