In keeping with the Diabetes UK brand and core message, our Group aims to Care, Connect & Campaign

Care - We hold regular support evenings where we hear from health care professionals and other speakers of mutal interest.

Connect - We bring together a wide range of people affected by diabetes - people with Type 1 & Type 2 diabetes, friends and family and carers.

Campaign - We campaign locally for diabetes care in the North Down & Ards area, and through our fundraising activities we support Diabetes UK (NI)'s team in their work.

We meet normally on the second Monday of the month in the period September to May, but please check our Meetings & Events section for full details.

Our meetings are held in the Kiltonga Christian Centre, Kiltonga Industrial Estate on the Belfast Road, Newtownards.

We start to get together at 7.30pm with some tea & coffee, friendly faces and hopefully lots of conversation.  The main meeting starts at 7.45pm with that evenings themed talk and a chance for questions, its all usually over by 9pm.
